QUALITY FEATURES: Testing - Certified and tested by the leading European testing authorities (ECB•S, Loss Prevention Certification Board of UK, Vds of Germany, CNPP of France) to European standard EN1143-1. Fire resistance - The Sovereign Grade 2 has gained the NT Fire 017 fire S60 paper standard and offers 60 minutes fire protection for documents. Manufacture - Manufactured to an ISO9002 accredited quality assured process. Locking - Grade 2 are secured by a single double bitted keylock as standard. A wide variety of electronic, time and time delay locks can be fitted on special request. Construction - Constructed from jointless barrier materials encapsulated in an outer and inner steel body for greater protection against attack. Differing security levels are achieved within the Sovereign range by the use of increasingly resilliant barrier materials. The doors are constructed using the same barrier materials together with the inclusion of additional protection over the locking areas. Boltwork - Four way engagement with 32mm moving bolts extending from 3 sides of the door that secure the door effectively into the body. The 3 way moving boltwork provides effective defence against attacks. Up to four anti-explosive devices, protect the boltwork against attack. Base fixing - A steel bush is welded in the safe base to accept a Chubb-specified high tensile, heavy duty anchor bolt. Cash rating - The recommended cash ratings for Grade 2 is £17,500 Jewellery Rating - As a general rule, the cash rating is multiplied by a factor of 10 for jewellery so a Sovereign Grade 2 with a cash rating of £17,500 will allow for storing jewellery worth £175,000 in domestic situations.
